Praise for the Lord’s Goodness.
A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day.
1 It is agood to give thanks to the LordAnd to bsing praises to Your name, O Most High;
2To cdeclare Your lovingkindness in the morning
And Your dfaithfulness ▼

by night,3 ▼

With the gten-stringed lute and ▼▼ Lit Upon
with the iharp,▼
▼ Lit Upon
With resounding music ▼▼ Lit by means of
upon the llyre.4For You, O Lord, have made me glad by ▼
▼ Lit Your working
what You nhave done,I will osing for joy at the pworks of Your hands.
5How qgreat are Your works, O Lord!

sthoughts are very tdeep.6A usenseless man has no knowledge,
Nor does a vstupid man understand this:
7That when the wicked wsprouted up like grass
And all xwho did iniquity flourished,
It was only that they might be ydestroyed forevermore.
8But You, O Lord, are zon high forever.
9For, behold, Your enemies, O Lord,
For, behold, aaYour enemies will perish;
All who do iniquity will be abscattered.
10But You have exalted my achorn like that of the wild ox;

been aeanointed with fresh oil.11And my eye has aflooked exultantly upon ▼
▼ Or those who lie in wait for me
my foes,My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.
12The ahrighteous man will ▼

flourish like the palm tree,He will grow like a ajcedar in Lebanon.
13 akPlanted in the house of the Lord,
They will flourish alin the courts of our God.
14They will still ▼
▼ Or thrive in

anyield fruit in old age;They shall be ▼
▼ Lit fat and
full of sap and very green,15To ▼
▼ Or show forth
declare that aqthe Lord is upright;He is my arrock, and there is asno unrighteousness in Him.
